Women's Ministry includes women who enjoy serving God in various ways.  Each year we create a budget to support several worthy causes both locally and around the world.  We do not have membership fees but we sponsor 1 to 3 fundraisers each year.  Almost 100% of our money raised goes to help others.

Women's Ministry meets at the church or at a member's house on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 P.M.  We have a brief Bible study program, a short business meeting, and refreshments (which are always delicious!).

The season from Easter to Pentecost, called March of Missions in the CP denomination, is a time to focus on missions. Our youth went on a mission trip over spring break and recently on a Wednesday evening shared their experience with the congregation. In conjunction with the theme of missions, Women's Ministry has planned a special program for our May meeting. Jan Wilkinson from Mentone, Ala. will be our guest speaker. She will talk about her mission trips to Myanmar(Burma). Mark your calendar ....Tues, May 8, 6:00 P.M. in the Fellowship Hall.

NEEDED: A place to have the women’s annual picnic on Tuesday, June 12th at 6:00 p.m. You only need to provide the place! Food, chairs and tables will be provided. If you are interested in providing a place, call Angeline Hill at 967-3908 or Brenda Tate at 962-4068. (No, you can’t volunteer someone else’s home.)

"Please remember to look for Box Tops for Education on your food pack- ages and bring them into the church. Also, look for Labels for Education on Campbell's Soup. The Women's Ministry Group sends these to the Cumberland Presbyterian Children's Home in Denton, TX. They cash each one in for 10 cents that can be used to purchase any item needed for the school. There are collection boxes in the Narthex and on a table beside the workout room. There is also an enve- lope for these items on the bul- letin board across the hall from the office. Thanks for helping us support this terrific mission!"
